Maximum Throughput with multi-dimensional Scanning

The WT 1000 Walk Through Metal Detector has high Detection Performance.

It creates an absolute uniform magnetic field for detection, and eliminates any “hot spots”. The WT1000 includes microprocessors in both detection with control circuitry, that creates an even greater sensitivity for detecting weapons. The built-in multi-coil circuitry minimizes false alarms.

The WT 1000 is proven reliable with high quality and value. It meets latest requirements of federal regulatory bodies, and all international standards for CEC regulations.

Regulatory Information

The WT 1000 meets or exceeds detection requirements of the National Institute of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Standards #0601.00, levels 1-5, and the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Application Specifications. Programs have been designed specifically to meet the Three Gun Test of the FAA and the requirements of the Undetectable Firearm Act of 1991.

The WT 1000 complies with IEC Standards for Safety Requirements for Electronic Measuring Apparatus and meets the Federal Communications commission Class B standards for noise emission for commercial electrical equipment.

The WT 1000 conforms to the new European Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, 89/336/EEC CE

  • EN 55011, Group 2, Class B
  • EN 50082-1

Public Safety

The peak magnetic field strength of the WT 1000 is less than one Gauss and does not affect magnetic recording media, including magnetic tape, diskette and cards. The WT 1000 has been tested in accordance to and meets the electromagnetic safety requirements of:

  • Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers: A Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic fields, 3 kHz to 300 GHz. IEEE C95.1 -1991 section 4.12.
  • National Institute of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice: Standards for Walk Through Metal Detectors for use in Weapon Detection, NILECJ-STD-0601.00 section 4.11
